Nicknames for Short People and gLee Poll Results

I'm "vertically challenged." I'm 5 ft, 1/2 an inch tall. I've always been short and I've learned to love it. I'd much rather be too short than too tall, and I'm tall enough to do all of the necessary things like driving.

What still gets on my nerves sometimes is the nicknames. I've decided to list a couple acceptable nicknames for short people, at least based on my personal experience, and nicknames to steer clear of.

Bad nicknames

- shawty- don't even go there

- midget- offensive

Good nicknames

- short stuff- sometimes cute, depends on my mood

- little one- I actually like this one

gLee poll results!

I had to do this poll because I LOVE gLee. I was a bit disappointed by the episode last Tuesday, but I have high hopes for the Madonna episode tomorrow! I also realized that I could have included Kristin Chenoweth, because she's coming back on the show to reprise her roll as April Rhodes, but this way all the guest stars in question are brand new!

Olivia Newton-John- 0% Guess we have no Grease fans out there...should be interesting to see her and Jane Lynch (Sue Sylvester) remake the "Physical" music video.

Jonathan Groff- 20% At first I was shocked by this. He's a Broadway star, and did you HEAR and SEE him performing "Highway to Hell" last episode? AMAZING. But then I thought about who he was up against, and I didn't feel so bad. Jonathan Groff, you're wonderful, but you simply don't have the following of either of our top stars.

Idina Menzel and Neil Patrick Harris- 40% each. I was happy with this. I have been a fan of Idina ever since I discovered Wicked, she has some amazing pipes! Unfortunately, I grew a little jaded with her because of her excessive and sometimes distracting breathing while she sings. I know she has asthma, but shouldn't a Tony-winning Broadway actress know how to breath correctly when singing? I have no qualms whatsoever with Neil Patrick Harris, though I don't know much about him. Most of my experience with him is limited to watching him host the Tony Awards, and if that's any indication of him as a performer he's going to be hysterical and a perfect match for gLee.
