Sure, she snagged an Oscar for Mary Poppins, and she's been nominated for three Tony's (but she declined her nomination for Victor/Victoria) but she's never won a Tony.
I think it's about time they put ole' Julie back on Broadway long enough to get her the Tony she's always deserved.
I agree, however, can shy physically do it anymore? Could her voice take it?
ReplyDeleteJulie is, and always will be, a star. Unfortunately, she had cancer and the surgeon accidentally damaged her vocal chords a while back while removing a tumor. She can still sing, but she's definitely not in her prime anymore.
